Try These Top Studio Branding Apps for Social Media
Hello Friends, I’ve recently been experimenting with various apps that help you create a brand image for yourself. Something you can add with every post, something that says YOU everytime you post anywhere.
So Here’s some research I’ve done for you…
This is with the app Ripl: Ripl had a lot of options but the free version is limited. But even with the free version, I was able to create this way cool “Logo” if you will. It’s extremely user-friendly and I love this particular “Promo” so I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
This next one is VERY basic. It only offers three templates, a few stickers like the outline around my text and a few filters for your image. If you’re not looking for anything fancy…and I mean ANYTHING FANCY…then you can get a nice basic logo out of this app. Here’s the Brand Logo I came up with from Seller Lab
Magisto has plenty of templates for their videos, but most require upgrading to pro, 7 free days then $29.00 a month…too rich for my blood. But if you go without a template there are still plenty of themes to choose from when you make your video. I loved this app and was happy with the small video it made. Of course, going pro you can get longer videos, but for short stories on Instagram and Facebook, or to include in each post saying who you are…not too shabby…highly recommended. Play around with this app, you’ll have fun!
Techsmith is great for very short motion logos that are perfect to add to every post showing who you are. The choices are limited but you can get some decent short motion videos that you can use in a variety of ways to grow your brand. I’m very happy with the one I have. It’s just the rectangle with my logo and the drop down frame with my service description. Very professional looking and well worth playing around with.
Splice is a great little video app where you can add images to create a video with music of your choice and various styles of videos and filters (but not too many). You can make longer videos on this app so that’s nice if you’re looking for this feature. I like the video I came up with and I give this one high marks!

Viva Video has lots of options, you can use edit videos you already have, use photos in your collection or capture new photos, set up a slideshow with various effects, the music of your choice and even a selfie. They have themes like “Love”, “Young”, “Friends”, “Vacation”, “FX”, and “2018” to recapture your year. Under each theme, there are various themes to go with each category that you can download for free. You can even earn “VIP Gifts” with usage. I had fun with this one…
SMM Booster was actually one of my favorites. It had some pretty cool themes, limited in number but very original. Of course filters and text…now the only problem was, as you’ll see in the video, I couldn’t figure out how to remove some of the text that was already there! Which is a shame because I love this video. No matter how many times I “double tapped” as directed I couldn’t get any of the text to change. Now, this is possible user error (knowing me) and if you figure it out, let me know!!
Boomerang is a simple “photo-video” clip used a great deal for Instagram. It just takes the movement in a photo a repeats it (Boomerang) to add text to for Stories on your Messenger, in Instagram, and even Facebook. Very simple but worth mentioning. I just played around with a shot of my cat…
They have 26 very cool and original templates to load your images in with music options, the ability to put text on any of your screenshots, and the ability to format landscape or portrait, the duration of each image and when the music starts and stops. I loved this one and I hope you do too! This was actually one of my favorites out of all my experimenting…
So please try these out and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post your results in the comments section and I can share them on my other platforms for people to see. So yes I’m literally begging you to post your experimenting in my comments…I just have to see how other artists (or anyone) uses these sites and apps creatively.
